Enter pager number (72836) “RAVEN” and then after the beeps
Enter the 10-digit call-back #
For Nurse Practitioners instructions to change coverage from one NP to another on the RAVEN pager: This must be done daily for the paging of Telly on call to work!
 
 (Please dial in and change pager number a few minutes before your shift is to start)
 There are two ways to call and change the pager:
Do it yourself 
Here are the steps to follow in order to change the “Coverage” on the Raven Telemedicine pager:
Dial 412-647-6245 (412-647-MAIL)
Enter in the five digit pager number (72836) “RAVEN”
(it will tell you what number is currently covering RAVEN)
Press # for more options
Press 1 to change coverage  (It will repeat the number currently covering RAVEN)
Press 1 again to change number
Enter your Short Range number (listed below)
Hang up
Test by paging yourself
Call an operator they can change the coverage for you 412-647-2345
 
Here is what the person who is leaving call should do at the end of their time on call to remove themselves from the on call paging process:
The simplest way to handle this is to just:
Call an operator at 412-647-2345. They can change the coverage for you to make the status change to “unavailable until <date and time>”
Or if you want to do it yourself 
Here are the steps to follow in order to change the “Coverage” on the Raven Telemedicine pager to “unavailable until <date and time>”:
Dial 412-647-6245 (412-647-MAIL)
Enter in the five digit pager number (72836) “RAVEN”
Press 1 to change coverage
Press 9 for a coverage status of “unavailable until < date and time>” and then enter the digits for the date and time it will resume.
